Margery “June” Clark, 76, of Kewanee, Il. died at 6:40 A.M. Saturday, May 6, 2006 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Il. She was born April 21, 1930 in Seneca, Il. the daughter of Lester C. and Lucille (White) Stone. She was reared and educated in the Seneca area. She married Kenneth Clark February 26, 1949 in Hooppole, Il. He survives along with one son Kevin (Pam) Clark of LeRoy, Il., one daughter Karen Murphy of Kewanee, four grandchildren Kamey, Denise, Taryn and Thomas and two great grandchildren Jayson and Dylan. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
June had been employed at Sandy’s and later Hardee’s restaurants in Kewanee prior to her retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kewanee, Harmony Chapter #43 Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 11, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church in Kewanee. Rev. K. Bruce Rushing will officiate. Private family inurnment will be at a later date in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Kewanee. There is no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice. The Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home, Kewanee, Il. is in charge of the arrangements.
