Obituary

F. Joanne Waugh, 74, of rural Neponset, Il. went home to be with her Lord at 6:55 P.M. Friday, August 17, 2007 at Kewanee Hospital. She was born September 29, 1932 in Monmouth, Il. the daughter of Kenneth B. and Mary A. (Cook) Moreland. She was reared and educated in Viola, Il. She was united in marriage to Bradley A. Waugh June 17, 1950 in Carthage, Il.

She is survived by her husband Bradley of 57 years, two daughters Mary (Dan) Cooper of Cleveland, Oh., Heather (David) Norberg of Davenport, Ia., five sons Jay (Rebecca) Waugh Houston, Tx., Roger (Sharon) Waugh of Neponset, Il., Jeffrey (Julie) Waugh of Lindsborg, Ks., Harlan Waugh of Littleton, Co., Christopher (Kristina) Lake Forest, Il., grandchildren include Nolan (Jane) Waugh, Emily Waugh, Joshua Morgan, Caleb Waugh, Garret Waugh, Anna Waugh, Micah Waugh, Elijah Waugh, Jacqueline Waugh, Claire Norberg, Christopher Norberg, Becca Waugh, Mary Mikail Waugh and Hunter Waugh, one sister Maribel (Robert) Jenkins of Lakeland, Fl., a brother-in-law William (Jackie) Waugh of Belvidere, Il., Sisters-in-law Lavota Armstrong of Keithsburg, Il., Iris (Gerald) Paulsen of Aledo, Il. and Mary Lou (Bill) Van Earwage of Moline, Il. Other family members include Bunnie, JoAn, Lorena and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Reece Waugh, a brother Keith Moreland, sister-in-law Erlene Moreland and a brother-in-law Reece Waugh.

She loved her family and the times spent with them. She had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, knitting, sewing, gardening and spending time on her computer.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at the Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home, Kewanee, Il. Rev. Darrell Cooper of the Evangelical Covenant Church of Lindsborg, Ks will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Kewanee, Il. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Buda Rescue Squad or the Fellowship Fund of the First Baptist Church of Kewanee.
