Charles E. Carder, 77, of Kewanee, Il. died at 6:38 A.M. Monday, January 30, 2012 at Toulon Health Care Center. Charles was born on December 24, 1934 in Kewanee the son of Charles C. and Anna M. (Foltz) Carder. He was reared and educated in Kewanee. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked construction in the Kewanee area working out of the local labor hall.
Charles married Donna Watson on January 5, 1957 in Kewanee. She survives along with three sons Charles S. (Sonya) Carder of Kewanee, Edward (Jill) Carder of Lyman, Wyoming, Erik (Tina) Carder of Abingdon, Il. two daughters Carla (Mike) Ogorzalek of Kewanee, Diane (John) Frantzen of Kewanee, thirteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a sister Jean Rodgers and a Brother Tony Webb. Charles was preceded in death by his parents a daughter Norine in 1968 and several brothers and sisters. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with the family.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home, Kewanee, Il. Rev. Dennis Keane will officiate. Cremation will follow the services with private family inurnment at a later date. Calling hours for Charles Carder are from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
