Obituary
Jack Leo Titlow, 82, of Wyoming, Il. died at 6:00 A.M. Monday, August 6, 2012 at Toulon Health Care Center. Jack was born June 21, 1930 in rural LaFayette the son of Theodore Gilbert and Ida (Jensen) Titlow. He graduated from LaFayette H.S. in 1948.
Jack married Lovella Jane Orwig on February 14, 1957 in Kewanee, Il.
She survives along with one brother James Titlow of Kewanee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters Frances Harms, Darlene Yordy, Dorothy Dunton and Yvonne Wilson, a brother John and an infant brother Frank.
Jack served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Jack was employed as an Illinois State Trooper for 26 years prior to retirement. Jack was a member of the Kewanee Masonic Lodge 159 A.F. and A.M., Moline Consistory and Mohammed Temple Shrine in Peoria. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #41.
Private Graveside services will be in the Wyoming Cemetery. Rev. Andrew Hopp of the Wyoming United Methodist Church will officiate. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Toulon Health Care Center. The Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home, Kewanee, Il. is in charge of arrangements.
