Jeanette Linda Hurst, 55, of Kewanee, Il. died at 1:20 P.M. Sunday, June 19, 2005 at her residence. She was born March 3, 1950 in Chicago, Il. the daughter of Edward and Mabel (Josephson) Miller. She was reared and educated in Chicago. She married Steve Prendergast. They were later divorced. She married Mike Hurst and they were later divorced. Surviving are two sons Brian (Kathy) Prendergast of Colona, Il and Harold (Christina) Hurst of Kewanee. One daughter Lori Prendergast and her husband Tito Rios of Chicago. Five grandchildren Christopher, Gianna, Alyssa, Leo and Bailey. She was expecting her sixth grandchild. Also surviving are two brothers Robert (Kathy) Miller of Minneapolis, Mn. and Kenneth (Marianne) Miller of Chippewa Falls, Wi. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was a homemaker.
A celebration of life will be held at the brick shelter house at Windmont Park in Kewanee from 12:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 2, 2005 where a memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 P.M. Rev. Robin Faull will officiate. Private family inurnment will be at a later date. A memorial has been established and contributions may be left at the service on Saturday. The Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home Kewanee, Il. is in charge of arrangements.
