Terry A. Warner, 70, of rural Kewanee, died May 2, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Hospital, Peoria. Terry was born August 13, 1948 in Geneseo, the son of Perley D. and Helen (Krueger) Warner. He graduated from Kewanee High School with the class of 1966. Terry married Jackie Swearingen on October 29, 1983 in Galesburg; she survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Michael P. Warner of rural Kewanee, Eric J. Warner of Kewanee, and Chadwick Warner, TX; Clint Senteney considered as a son; one granddaughter; and one sister. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Terry owned and operated Warner's Turbo Shop. He worked as a commercial insurance agent for many years and worked on the family farm. He served on many church boards at the First United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Kewanee Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. He was an accomplished diesel mechanic and loved restoring older tractors. He was the nation's #1 seller of Steiger Tractors.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home. Pastor Kevin Drane will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm, Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the funeral home. A Masonic Service will be at 6:45 pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the funeral home.
